Well, I’ve always said that my dream job would be to get paid to travel, but there’s already a Samantha B. who has that job. So, I will dish out the dough instead for the same experiences 🙂
Anyway, I’m in the very early planning stages for my venture. So far here’s what’s going on: I’ll be an exchange student at la Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (SdC), in SdC, Spain. If Spain were a clock, SdC would be around 10 o’clock. I’ll be taking Psychology and Spanish courses, and when I return to Wisconsin, I’ll have accomplished my Bachelor’s degree. Afterwards I’ll probably do a year with Americorps then head on to graduate school.
Where will I be, exactly?
Here’s a more close-up view:
All throughout college I always said that I wouldn’t have time to study abroad since I needed to continue with my labs and courses as consistently as possible. So, I originally planned to graduate in 4 solid years and never considered studying abroad until just a couple months ago when I decided, at the last minute, that getting to study abroad would be a now-or-never experience. And now it’s happening!
But first, I have an amazing summer to look forward to, along with completing a couple things I need to get done before I go – like my thesis! At least I’m done with the school year and can relax for a bit 🙂
