Where to Stay in Clearwater Beach

With so many Americans looking for domestic spring break options, many head south to Florida. Clearwater Beach is close to the action and a great option for a fun passport-free getaway.

Sandpearl Resort

If you’re looking for a luxury resort, look no further than the Sandpearl Resort. Enjoy high-end amenities such as plush bath robes, a Roman tub, and gulf view from your own private balcony. Take advantage of private cabanas and the zero-entry pool or pamper yourself in the spa. For dinner head to the hotel’s own on-site fine-dining restaurant. Rooms will cost anywhere from $325-$900 per night, depending on type of room or suite reserved. Clients are also close to shopping and other dining at Pier 60 or can explore the local Clearwater Marine Aquarium.

Shephards Beach Resort

A lovely option in Clearwater Beach that won’t break the bank, guests at Shephards Beach Resort can expect rooms with two queen beds, free Wi-Fi and parking, and a public pool. The hotel has a tiki stage when guests can enjoy the live entertainment and later head to the nightclub to dance through the evening. The hotel is close to nearby restaurants and bars as well as to the beach where guests can enjoy the sand and take advantage of boating and fishing. Rates begin in standard rooms at $175 per night, depending on the time of the year.

Magnuson Hotel Clearwater Central

Those looking for moderate accommodations at wallet-friendly prices can check into the Magnuson Hotel Clearwater Central, which includes in the rooms microwaves, coffee makers, complimentary Wi-Fi, and free continental breakfast. The hotel also provides a free beach shuttle and guests can check out the nearby Pier 60 to find restaurants, shopping, and nighttime entertainment. Room rates are under $140 per night so guests can enjoy a nice vacation without breaking the budget. Pets are also invited free of charge.

Beachview Inn

Standard rooms at the Beachview Inn include air conditioning and satellite TV, and guests can upgrade their room for either pool-view or suite options to gain extra amenities such as small kitchen appliances. In rooms guests must pay a surcharge for Wi-Fi but will have free access in public spaces. Guests will also enjoy free breakfasts in the mornings as well as quick access to Sandy Key Park and nearby attractions such as Pier 60, Clearwater Marine Aquarium, and Lowry Park Zoo. Room rates start at $189 for standard accommodations.

Gulf Beach Inn

All rooms at the Gulf Beach Inn, from standard rooms to suites, include private bathrooms, an iron and ironing board, and air conditioning. Studios also include a small kitchenette, and families will be comfortable in suites that have sofa beds. Those looking for budget accommodations will be pleased with the $79 nightly average for standards rooms.  Nearby are beaches, shopping, and restaurants as well as the popular Pier 60. Guests can also utilize the motel’s outside facilities, such as the charcoal grill or the nearby public fishing pier. Note that parking has a surcharge.
