Would You Eat It? Spanish Jamón

This is pretty tame compared to a lot of unfamiliar foods for me – the interesting thing wasn’t the fact that this is prosciutto, but that it’s hung like this, all dried and salted, in grocery stores all across Spain! I hadn’t ever seen this before, just sitting there hanging from some shelves. While it tastes fantastic and is great inside a baguette sandwich, the smell is pretty bad when you walk past it – almost have to hold your nose!

So… would you eat it?
